I observed Mrs. Perry, a kindergarten teacher, and Mrs. Deakins, a fourth-grade teacher, and noted the similarities and differences in their approaches to creating a productive and organized learning environment.Observations of Procedures, Routines, Rewards, and RulesIn Mrs. Perrys Kindergarten class, she had a set of clear classroom rules posted in her room, such as oBe kind,? oListen to the teacher,? and oUse your inside voice.? These rules were simple and easy for young children to understand. Transitions were handled
